Strawberries are available throughout the year though supply is heaviest during spring. Strawberries in WA region are heaviest from August to December and some states from October to March. Berries showing even slight damage should be rejected, as these can deteriorate rapidly and spoil the entire pack.

Strawberries are mostly packed either 250g or 500g punnets. The most popular size is 250g and punnets design can be square shape or flat type. Punnets are generally marketed in a paper cardboard trays.

Hence retail demand increases in many countries for carrots being one of the major dishes for dinners. As per Research by the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Sciences, concerns around food security have grown in recent years. The projections indicate that world food demand may increase by 70% by 2050. Expansion and innovation in Carrots growing technology has given a unique advantage to the Australian Growers to grow Carrots and other vegetables to fulfill the global demand.
